Labrador Coastal Drive is accessible by road for about eight months of the year. It is accessible in the south via the Strait of Belle Isle ferry from St. Barbe, Newfoundland to Blanc Sablon, Quebec and by the Relais Nordik Ferry Service from Sept Isles, Quebec and in the north via a ferry service from Goose Bay to Cartwright, Labrador. A passenger/freight service operates between the communities of Williams Harbour, Charlottetown, Port Hope Simpson and Norman Bay.
