Battle Harbour Inn is a beautifully restored historic home with a parlour, dining room and enclosed sunporch. Additional accommodations include four self contained heritage homes and a bunkhouse. All properties include a panoramic view of the Labrador Sea complete with majestic icebergs, seabirds and whales. The Inn and homes are part of Battle Harbour National Historic District, commemorated to tell the story of the Labrador fishery.

Discover a history coloured by characters such as medical pioneer Sir Wilfred Grenfell and artic explorer Commandeer Robert Peary. Battle Harbour is the only fully intact saltfish plantation in Newfoundland and Labrador. Interpretative centres, numerous artefacts, guided tours, boat charters and an abundance of natural beauty brings 200 years of history to life in this black fly free island location.

Facilities
The Battle Harbour Inn offers single and double rooms and guests can also take advantage of a fully equipment kitchen,a living room furnished with period pieces, an enclosed sun porch and a large deck.

Four heritage homes also offer single and double room accommodation and each is restored to a different period of time ranging from circa 1830 through to circa 1955.There is also hostel-style accommodation at the Bunkhouse-Cookhouse. While most of these buildings were originally built without indoor plumbing, concessions were made during restoration to fit each with one indoor bathroom restored to an appropriate period. This National Historic District can accommodate a maximum of 44 overnight guests.
