The Loder family from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland had established a fish trading business and constructed premises in the community that was to operate for many years. Some of their properties have been restored and once again grace the waterfront. A fishing stage and a general store now house exhibits relating the history of St. Lewis.

The Loder's Point Premises are a restoration project of the St. Lewis Heritage Society.
