March 7-8, Annual Lillian Morris Floor Hockey Tournament, Cartwright

Lillian Morris or Lilly, as she was commonly known, loved sports with a passion. She was a very warm, sincere person who was always ready and willing to give a helping hand in a number of community events...Church, the Brownie and Guide movement and Ladies Broomball. She was instrumental in making uniforms for her beloved broomball team, the Owls. Every game on the old outdoor rink would see Lilly kneeling down in front of the net, one very happy little goalie !!! This Lillian Morris Tournament honors her spirit of competition.
